Luxembourg City will close more streets to cars and expand its pedestrians-only zones, Mayor Lydie Polfer said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
At the Place des Bains half of the parking places will be transformed to give pedestrians and cyclists more space. Polfer called on restaurants and bars to apply for terrace spaces in the redesigned streets, saying: âWe want to create more space and bring back life to the cityâ.
