ILIGAN CITY – The city government of Oroquieta signed a deal with AstraZeneca for the advance purchase of 120,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines against coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 for the city’s 60,000 residents.
Oroquieta Mayor Lemuel Acosta, during the Kita ang Oroquieta live program, announced that all city residents, aged 18 years old and above, will be vaccinated for free.
“We ordered 120, 000 doses to vaccinate all residents of Oroquieta City, as the vaccine is administered in two doses,” he said.
He added that the order will be enough for the 50,000 residents, who are registered voters, with a 10,000-allowance for residents not registered in the city.
