Denton town manager leaving to take position in Mocksville

Denton Town Manager Kenneth Gamble will be leaving to take a position as the town manager in Mocksville. His last day will be April 30.
“It has been an honor and privilege to work with our dedicated staff, Board of Commissioners, parks and recreation board, planning and zoning board, volunteers and residents to improve the town for everyone,” said Gamble.

Gamble began his tenure as the town manager in Denton in February 2019. He was previously the town manager of Stoneville in Rockingham County. Prior to his five years as town manager in Stoneville, Gamble served as chief of police for the Town of Kernersville.
