In a brief meeting May 1, the Gentry City Council passed on their third readings ordinances allowing on-premises alcohol consumption and prohibiting through truck traffic on city streets not designated as truck routes, including West Main Street.
The Gentry City Council adopted a 2023 budget, approved the purchase of two police vehicles, approved a salary ordinance and accepted the resignation of the city clerk on Dec. 5.
BENTONVILLE Benton County and the cities of Cave Springs, Decatur, Gentry and Highfill have reached a preliminary agreement with Pafford Medical Services to provide emergency medical services to much of the western portion of the county, according to a county news release.
