A legislated review of Saskatchewan's electoral ridings shows a marked shift in where people are living in the province. The only electoral areas showing population growth are urban.

If you have received your census form, the due date is Tuesday. Or at least the form nicely requests that you fill it out by May 11th. Warman Mayor Gary Philipchuk says everything the city gets in terms of funding is tied to the census.
He points out they were the fastest growing city in all of Canada in the last census and that both Warman as well as Martensville have benefited from residents filling out their census and providing data that secured funding for continued growth.
He says their census data had shown a young demographic with a growing senior population and some of the planning that came from that includes added value at their Prairie Oasis Park It has a skate board park,a BMX park, lit ball diamonds and outdoor hockey rink with lights, in addition to five schools being either renovated or built brand new in the community.
