The Province of British Columbia has developed a step program within the BC Building Code that requires 20 per cent better energy efficiency for most new buildings in B.C.
At his state of the city address on Thursday, April 29, Mayor Don McCormick, following his presentation, opened the floor to questions and addressed what he called “the elephant in the room,” that being the proposed zoning amendment to allow for a new family restaurant and service station in Marysville.
It has been three years since Mayor Don McCormick has invited the community for a State of City Address. During that time, we have gone through a world wide pandemic, and a municipal election, in which McCormick ran unopposed.
