MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The mayor of Mexico City on Monday accused a state prosecutors' office of covering up the killing of a young woman found dead on a Morelos highway last week, after the office reported the 27-year-old had died of alcohol intoxication.
Abril Pérez Sagaón was shot in the head at close range in 2019. She, along with her lawyer and two of her kids were being driven through Mexico City at the time of the fatal shooting on November 25, 2019.
