(Angeles City Information Office) + April 07, 2021 THE Angeles City Government has tapped three hotels to serve as additional isolation facilities to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients. In a statement, the City Government has designated O Garden Hotel, Diamond Spring Hotel, and Sydney Hotel to serve as isolation areas for patients who are asymptomatic and with mild symptoms.

The order came after the city experienced a surge in coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases for the past two weeks, with daily cases reaching double digits. There was also the first recorded case of the South African variant, which according to experts may be more infectious than the original version of the virus. “Bunsod ng biglaang pagtaas ng bilang ng mga Covid-19 cases sa siyudad, ipinag-utos natin ang pagbalik ng curfew mula 11 p.m. hanggang 5 a.m. Isa ito sa nakikita nating paraan upang maiwasan ang tuluyan pang pagkalat ng virus,” Lazatin said.
