KAILALI, Dec 22: Tikapur Municipality in Kailai district has mobilized a large number of women health volunteers (WHVs) to spread the message against non-communicable diseases. The municipality took this decision concluding that non-communicable diseases have been witnessed as one of the key health threats.

But, Pani Ghatta (traditional watermill) in some places of Malika Rural Municipality in Gulmi district is still in use. A watermill is a structure that produces power with a large wheel being turned by moving water to run machineries such as grinding, rolling and hammer mills. Products like flour, paper, textiles and metal products are produced through the use of such mills in general.
