WORCESTER Amid a semester of uncertainty and unrest, Clark University’s Challah for Hunger chapter continued to raise money to fight food insecurity on- and off-campus.
On Monday, at Challah for Hunger’s Winter Retreat, the local group won half of the nationally-raised donations this past semester, making Rachel’s Table a food rescue and outreach program located in the Worcester JCC on Salisbury Street the recipient of almost $800.
“To be able to see how Rachel’s Table’s work can resonate with people everywhere is really impactful and makes us super proud that we can continue to support them in this way,” said Maya Falb, Clark University ’23 and president of the college’s chapter of Challah for Hunger.
