【時報-台北電】醫療主題的日劇以各型態變化，近年有直飛上天的《空中急診英雄》、決不失敗的《派遣女醫》、穿越時空的《JIN-仁-》及內幕重重的《白色巨塔》等作。2021夏季日劇醫療劇也不缺席，《TOKYO MER：Mobile Emergency Room 行動急診室》與《Night Doctor 夜間醫生》兩部較勁，在疫情期間更獲注目。
正在KKTV跟播的《Night Doctor》不讓韓劇《機智醫生生活》醫師五人幫專美於前，也呈現夜間急救專門五人幫團隊，由曾主演《路～台灣Express～》的波?主演。五人幫中，除了傑尼斯「King & Prince」成員岸優太首度演醫師外，波?、田中圭、北村匠海等都曾在他劇演過醫事人員，讓岸優太的新人菜鳥醫師角色更添說服力。
