President Marcos’ creative communications adviser justified yesterday the advertisement on London buses that featured the Filipina-British nurse who administered the first COVID-19 vaccine, saying it aims to uplift the spirit of overseas Filipinos and to highlight their compassion and competence.
While Frasco did not distance the DOT from the slogan and threw her support behind the idea, she also said that the department “will enhance the existing slogan in consultation with our stakeholders.”
The new country brand under the Marcos administration, “We Give the World Our Best – The Philippines” is not for tourism purposes but meant to uplift the overseas Filipinos’ spirit.
