警方調查，今年5月25日接獲仁大工業區服務中心通報，稱工業區內道路旁樹欉，遭不明人士置放汽油瓶。經派員前往至現場勘查，發現汽油瓶均置放在人行道矮仙丹樹叢裡，經深入追查後，陸續發現有多次這種情況，包括4月24日在工業區消防隊旁行道樹，發現30瓶；5月13日在國喬與台聚場界花圃，發現5瓶；5月24日在高塑公司正對面樹叢，發現2瓶。；5月25日在台橡東側門左側處樹叢，發現3瓶；6月29日在元際公司對面樹叢，發現3瓶。
