Barbados Today May 27, 2021
Barbadians and permanent residents are being urged to take advantage of the Immunisation Unit’s open day tomorrow, Friday, May 28, for the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The National Vaccination Programme’s Co-coordinator (Logistics), Major David Clarke, reminded persons that they will not be protected against COVID-19 if they don’t get both doses of the vaccine.
The open day will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and persons who received their first dose before April 1, this year, are urged to get their second dose before the vaccines, which were received from India, expire at the end of this month.
