“June was our all-time best on record, including election years, receiving more than $115,000. The previous monthly record was $63,000 last year,” said Furstenau.
The Greens are narrowing the gap with the B.C. Liberal party, which raised $313,514 during the second quarter of this year, just $34,000 more than B.C. Greens. During the first quarter, the Liberals raised $71,000 more than the Greens.
B.C. Liberal spokesperson David Wasyluk said party fundraising is down because of the party leadership rase.
