FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) Vinyl Giant is hosting its last Record Store Day for the year.
Due to the pandemic, the event was hosted on two days this year versus one. Today is when anyone can find new record releases that are only found in stores. The records released today are not found online or at big-box retailers. Co-Owner of Vinyl Giant Erica Sponsler says some of the records are in color vinyl and some have 180 pressing.
She says today’s event is a chance for customers to purchase limited edition vinyl records.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) Kids are making their way to the Fargo Air Museum for Youth Aviation Camp.
“It’s one of the more advanced camps in the area. We’re always talking with other museums and trying to make sure we’re on the cutting edge of education for our youth,” Fargo Air Museum Executive Director Ryan Thayer said.

They are now Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award recipients.
Governor Doug Burgum presented the 45th and 46th Rough Rider Awards to Monique Lamoureux-Morando and Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson during a ceremony at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The twins grew up in Grand Forks, played for the University of North Dakota women’s hockey team and live there now. They played a big role on the gold medal-winning 2018 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team. They also won silver medals at the 2010 and 2014 games.
The Lamoureuxs were told they were getting the state’s highest honor last summer but the ceremony was delayed due to the pandemic.

But for the first time, they are also running a free shuttle service to anyone attending the Trollwood musical Cinderella .

NORTH DAKOTA & MINNESOTA (KVRR) MATBUS is once again providing free rides to the Downtown Street Fair this week.
But for the first time, they are also running a free shuttle service to anyone attending the Trollwood musical ‘Cinderella’. It will help ease traffic in Bluestem’s parking lot.
The LinkFM shuttles will pick up people at the MATBUS shelter at Azool Hornbacher’s and the Bluestem main entrance. Anyone can park in the Hornbacher’s parking lot. Shuttles will run each night between 7 and around 11:15. Performances begin at 8:30 p.m. “Cinderella” will be on stage July 14-17, July 21-24, and July 28-31.
