The ‘Music for All’ scheme will take place alongside a series of festival events. As usual, the main events will include a series of evening and afternoon concerts from September 9-12 at St John’s church, featuring festival founders the Primrose Piano Quartet and several internationally renowned musician guests, while ‘Music for All’ will include a family concert, late night programme, master classes for young local musicians and local band Rehab Blues at the village’s Thomas Lord Pub. Extending the event across the Meon Valley will be a recital by 2018 BBC Young Musician of the Year finalist, cellist Maxim Calver at Warnford’s Church of our Lady, which is free to attend.
