CANTON â Two St. Lawrence County-run COVID-19 vaccine clinics are scheduled next week for any New Yorker at least 18 years old.
Though state eligibility has expanded to people 16 and older, the county is only receiving doses of the Moderna vaccine, which is approved for people 18 and older.
The county Public Health Department, with St. Lawrence Health System, is hosting a Moderna vaccine clinic with appointments from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Star Lake Fire Department, 4078 Route 3. Roughly 80 appointments were still available Thursday morning.
A second clinic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 15, at the St. Lawrence University Leithead Field House, 100 Park St., Canton. Nearly 500 appointments at Leithead are available.
