On an evening that featured the world’s fastest Standardbred in Bulldog Hanover and a mare defeating males in one of Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s marquee events, the supporting card was far from disappointing as many of the sport’s brightest stars sparkled at the Anderson oval.
Canadian star Beach Glass claimed the second jewel of the Pacing Triple Crown, the $258,300 Cane Pace for three-year-old colts and geldings, on Hambletonian Day at The Meadowlands.
While much of the attention will be focused on the second leg of trotting’s Triple Crown on Saturday (August 6) at The Meadowlands for Hambletonian Day, a field of eight pacing colts and geldings will vie for the second leg of pacing’s Triple Crown the Cane Pace.
