Bright new blue and yellow chairs appeared outside of the Nebraskan Student Union last month as part of an ongoing campus beautification effort. These chairs give students new places outside to enjoy the nice weather and chat with friends.

UNK Student Government held its inauguration ceremony Tuesday to swear in the new student body president Noah Limbach and vice president Tristan Larson as well as the newly elected student senators.
Chancellor Douglas Kristensen presided over the swearing-in ceremony, calling forward the senators and executive representatives in order for them to take their oath of office.
The ceremony began with a short welcome and introduction of the honored guests by Mark Barrientos.
Barrientos celebrated the previous achievements that student government was able to accomplish in the past year. Among these are new election guidelines and new graduation stoles rules, as well as advancements in Greek Life.

Loper Programming Activities Committee hosted their annual talent show. The FAME talent show is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents in front of their peers and a panel of judges, with the opportunity to win cash prizes.
The event was hosted live with limited audience space; it was also live-streamed on LPACâs social media outlets.
This yearâs show was jam-packed with performances ranging from swing dancing to acapella singing. Over 18 acts were performed before the judgeâs panel.
Contestants competed in two categories for group acts and individual acts. Six acts performed in the group category and 12 individuals competed against each other in the individual category.

KEARNEY – Noah Limbach of Kearney and Tristan Larson of Doniphan will serve as the next student body president and vice president at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
