Upset over proposed Truro boundary changes could impact the Falmouth area instead Plans to shift entire villages into different Parliamentary constituencies have come under fire from local councillors who are encouraging residents to make their views known. The Boundary Commission for England (BCE) is currently undertaking a review of Parliamentary constituency boundaries in what is known as the 2023 review. While the new proposals have dispensed with the controversial idea of a Devonwall constituency, which would have sat on the border of Devon and Cornwall, there are plans to move some villages into different constituencies. Among the most controversial is the plan to move Threemilestone and Chacewater out of the Truro and Falmouth constituency and into the Camborne and Redruth constituency.
