The supreme leader of the Taliban-run administration in Afghanistan, has emphasized the need to implement Islamic laws to ensure justice and safeguard freedom in the country.
Taliban s supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada is participating in a three-day religious gathering of clerics at the Loya Jirga Hall in Kabul, local media reported.
Criticising Afghanistan s national assembly, former politicians said that without the participation of political figures at such gatherings, the formal recognition that the Taliban wanted, would not be possible, neither at a local nor an international level.
