A grand jury indictment said Priddy certified invoices charging the state $34.1 million for COVID testing and response services without verifying their accuracy.
A federal judge on, Jan. 10, 2024, granted a motion from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia to schedule a guilty plea hearing for Priddy, former director of the state’s Center for Threat Preparedness within the Department of Health and Human Resources.
