The UMass Donahue Institute will recognize 50 years of client-centered public service in an event at the University of Massachusetts Club at One Beacon Street on May 3, from 5-7:30 p.m. There is also an option to attend the event virtually via Zoom from 5:30-7 p.m.
Hibernians prep for ‘Irish Night in Holyoke-A Go Go’

Not even a pandemic can keep the Ancient Order of Hibernians James A. Curran Division One and The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Division Two of Hampden/Hampshire Counties from celebrating this year’s Irish Night, but unlike past years that featured a sit-down meal with entertainment, this year’s iteration is “a go-go” meal.
The “2021 Irish Night in Holyoke-A Go Go” will be a curbside pickup of a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner prepared by the staff at the Log Cabin in Holyoke.
The meal will be available for pick up March 6 at the Log Cabin, 500 Easthampton Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
