Nesbitt, who fled on the final day of his murder trial, was found guilty in September 2017 of killing his former girlfriend. After years on the run, and a feature on “America’s Most Wanted,” one of Fulton County’s most dangerous fugitives has been rearrested, deputies say. Maurice Nesbit disappeared in 2017 just days before a jury found him guilty in the killing of his ex-girlfriend, Rashawn Jackson. He was out on bond, and when it appeared that he was going to be found guilty, Fulton County sheriff’s office said Nesbit removed his ankle monitor and vanished.
