A Brooklyn woman is suing the New York City Housing Authority for negligence after she was brutally attacked at Farragut Houses in Downtown Brooklyn last year.
A woman who was brutally stabbed and nearly killed by an intruder in a New York City House Authority complex Brooklyn last year has filed a negligence suit against the agency for allegedly failing to secure the entrance to the building further tarnishing NYCHA's reputation as the nation's largest slumlord.
The accused stabber, identified by sources as Maurice Brister, was caught in the act knifing a 49-year-old woman outside NYCHA’s Farragut Houses near the Manhattan Bridge when cops arrived about 5:30 a.m., NYPD officials said.
