In that time, a committee has been formed, the splash pad has been costed out, but there is still no firm commitment from the Town of Espanola to move forward. At its last regular meeting on May 11, council took up a motion that was on the agenda to set aside $75,000 towards the project, with the hopes of installing the splash pad next year.
