A total of 101 Carmangay residents voted Dec. 8 at the polling station at the Carmangay Senior Citizens Club.
Patrick Bergen, the Village’s chief administrative officer, estimated the turnout for the byelection between 45 and 55 per cent. The Village does not have an official voters’ list, he said.
“We’re super happy with the turnout,” said Bergen.
Carmangay’s council called the byelection following the resignation of deputy mayor Joanne Juce.
