Shrill. The Hulu series’s final season premiered its official trailer, and we join our lead character in her biggest crossroads yet.
This upcoming journey sees Annie (Aidy Bryant) dealing with the single world, fighting for her place at work, and the fear of being canceled. Thankfully her best friend Fran (Lolly Adefope) and co-workers Ruthie (Patti Harrison) and Maureen (Jo Firestone) are there for her when she needs them most. Check out the trailer here…

is coming to an end with season three, which makes this trailer a bittersweet experience for those of us (the smart, correct people) who love Aidy Bryant’s Hulu series. Loosely based on Lindy West’s excellent memoir of the same name, it seemed unlikely that
Shrill would last much longer, but at least the final season looks like a G.D. delight:
Now that Annie (Bryant) has ended things with Ryan (Luka Jones), she’s free to date or, as she calls it, “juggling a lot of nasty boys, including new love interests played by Anthony Oberbeck and
Mindhunter’s Cameron Britton (totally unrecognizable without that Ed Kemper mustache). Meanwhile, things appear to be getting quite serious between Fran (Lolly Adefope) and Em (E.R. Fightmaster), with the former unveiling their relationship to her mom.
On Tuesday, Saturday Night Live s Aidy Bryant unveiled the trailer for the third (and final) eight-episode season of Shrill, which premieres May 7 on Hulu.
The 33-year-old co-creator and star - who plays Portland journalist Annie Easton in the sitcom - wrote on Instagram: See you at my birthday party on May 7th!
In the two-minute preview, Annie glams up for a girls night out with her BFF Fran (Lolly Adefope) and co-workers Maureen (Jo Firestone) and Ruthie (Patti Harrison).
