Maureen Haley Thornton has been named president and CEO of Visit Franklin, the convention and visitors bureau for Williamson County.Â
Thornton, who most recently served as the vice president of strategic tourism initiatives at Visit Houston, was selected by the Visit Franklin Board of Directors following a national search and will begin in her role July 12. She has a successful track record of working with destinations across the United States and internationally.
