West Maui community association secures community benefits from solar project developer

The West Maui Preservation Association has reached an agreement with Innergex, the developer of the Kahana Solar project on West Maui. The developer will donate thousands of dollars annually to West Maui nonprofits and organizations and come up with a decommissioning plan. WMPA will withdraw its opposition to the project, which is currently before the state Public Utilities Commission.
