KOTA KINABALU: Two political allies in Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) - Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Sabah STAR - are not holding back their punches amid a war of words between them.
PBS Youth chief Christopher Mandut told Sabah STAR s Jovilis Manjami to stop meddling in PBS affairs in an ongoing tit-for-tat quarrel between the two allies in the ruling GRS-led state government.
In calling Jovilis a rookie politician, Mandut said he should mind his own business and leave PBS to handle its own matters. We do not need his opinion. PBS has always been in communication with the GRS leadership, so there is no need for him (Jovilis) to remind us of our strength, Mandut said.

Kota Kinabalu: Oil palm leaves to give shade from the sun shelters. A big rock as a desk. And surroundings of overgrown grass as walls. For a year, that has been a classroom to three young children of a far-flung village in Sabah’s northernmost Kudat district.
Rain or shine, Sharifah Sharizah has, without fail, taken the children on a hike up to a hilltop about 5km from their home, so that the children can attend online classes.

KOTA KINABALU: The army moved in to send food supplies to villages in Sabah s northern Matunggong area that were cut off by floods.
The 3rd battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (3RAMD) led by Lt Muhammad Anas Azmi moved the supplies in on two army trucks on Thursday (Jan 14) after learning that villagers were cut off as roads into the area remained flooded.
On hearing that villagers at Kg Tombuluran Ondou in Matunggong were cut off by the floods, the soldiers organised with the Kudat District Natural Disaster relief committee to send in the food to the people.
