MISSISSAUGA, Ontario Continental Tire Canada has promoted Tina Alessi to national sales manager for the firm s passenger and light truck tire business in Canada.
Ms. Alessi has been with Continental since 2008, most recently working as national account manager for the consumer tire business, which covers tires for passenger cars, crossover utility vehicles, sports utility vehicles, vans and light trucks.
Her promotion was effective Jan. 1. Jonathan Ainsley held this position previously.
Prior to joining Continental, she worked for five years with wholesale distributor Atlas Tires. I look at leadership as not just a title but about how one impacts and influences others, she said. Over the years I have been encouraged to know my worth, have confidence in myself and my abilities, and most of all, know that my voice and opinion matter.
