Irene Tucker steps down from city of Detroit roles to become Michigan Humane CFO
Brings nearly two decades of corporate finance experience
Succeeds Matthew Kubler, who left for position in Delaware

Michigan Humane has named Irene Tucker, a city of Detroit executive, as its new CFO.
She succeeds Matthew Kubler, who left his role as senior vice president and CFO after four and a half years to move into a mortgage lending role at WSFS Bank in Delaware, according to his LinkedIn page.
Tucker, who has been with the city of Detroit for more than five years, most recently served as deputy director in the office of program and performance management.

Nearly six months after the high school cross country season was supposed to start in a normal year, Valley Christian High hosted the first of two Olympic League cluster meets last Saturday morning. In this unprecedented season because of the global pandemic, the cross country season was to have started in late December and this meet was originally scheduled to take place on Jan. 20.
