In a communication, Rep. Joe informed Speaker Bhofal Chambers, and the colleagues of his bill to repeal the 2008 act creating the college to establish in “lieu thereof a Grand Bassa University College and a charter.” Rep. Joe further that the administration of the college and other stakeholders have worked assiduously with the National Commission on Higher Education to prepare the college in meeting university standards.

Lawmakers Vexed With APM Terminal | Liberian Observer

Reopens dying probe The worsening relationship between the House of Representatives and APM Terminals has escalated further as the latter renew its investigation on the former operation in the country. The tension, which has been on the low lately, has soared in recent days since APM Terminals out of surprise announced a 9.67 percent increment on all current charges of its services at the Free Port of Monrovia. In defense of its moves, the company said it violates no law and that the increment was necessary to raise more revenue to enhance its operations and equipment with more than US$3.3 million in 2021.
