The Houston man was arrested Jan. 26 after he admitted to a Houston news station that he participated in the riots, according to the FBI.
He told the reporter that he was at the edge of the Capitol building barricade when people started pushing past it so he joined in. However, a video later posted on YouTube showed Alvarado battling with police at the entrance of the building, a statement of facts said.
