In case you dont know me, i am jay wyatt, i am the director here at the byrd center. I thank you for joining us as we celebrate Constitution Day. With the 15th annual memorial lecture on the u. S. Constitution. Constitution day, as im sure many of you know, was yesterday. We are a little bit belated in celebrating, but thats ok. Before i get started i want to take a minute to recognize the passing of Cokie Roberts. Many of you were here in july when cokie and Steve Roberts very graciously came out and participated in an event on the stage to help us raise money for our Internship Program and we had a wonderful dinner afterward.
