School s bus craned to safer spot ahead of turning it into a library | Harwich and Manningtree Standard

Moving day - children by the double-decker bus which will become a library A CRANE lifted a school bus over a classroom to a secure location so it can be renovated into a library space for students. The double-decker bus, which was vandalised by thugs several months ago, belongs to Mayflower Primary School, in Dovercourt. Following the vandalism, two pupils started a JustGiving page and raised an impressive £2,000 to cover the cost of repairs to the bus. Karen Wright, the deputy headteacher, decided the bus needed a safer location to reduce the risk of any further vandalism and contacted crane company Cadman’s of Colchester.
