A woman filed a lawsuit after slipping and falling in an apartment managed by a Maryland state legislator s company, the 11 News I-Team has learned.Michele Hayes, the tenant, claims Baltimore County Delegate Jay Jalisi s real estate business, failed to repair water problems that led to a serious injury.When Hayes looked at the apartment for rent in the building on Greenmount Avenue in Baltimore a year and a half ago, she said she assumed the work she saw being done was taking care of any problems. They were working on the apartment when I came to see it, so I had faith that everything would have been completed before my move-in date, Hayes said.When asked whether the work was completed, Hayes said, No. Within weeks, Hayes said evidence of water leaks appeared.
