Feeney extends series lead in chaotic Townsville finale Dunlop Super2 Series By James Pavey
Broc Feeney continued on his merry way on the streets of Townsville with a crushing Race 2 victory.
It marked Feeney’s third win in four starts this season, with the Triple Eight Race Engineering driver extending his Dunlop Super2 Series lead.
Tim Blanchard was five seconds adrift in second, with Jayden Ojeda 1.7s back in third.
Feeney led away from pole and quickly edged away from the chasing pack.
However, his charge was stifled almost immediately; on lap 2, Triple Eight teammate Angelo Mouzouris was turned around by an out-of-control Aaron Seton.
