The nydps budget this year 4. 5 million. Not all of that goes to weapons but millions do. Not only does that improve gun makers bottom line it also gives them a very powerful marketing tool, the prestige that coming with arming officers. Gun companies have designed entire Marketing Campaigns around the idea that every day citizens can be just like cops if they have the same guns that cops do.
