A new plan to reduce cruise ship visitation will go into effect for the 2023 season and beyond after the Town Council supported the motion during Tuesday’s meeting.
The Town Council on Tuesday, after consulting with an attorney, voted to advance a citizen’s petition aimed at drastically limiting disembarking cruise ship passengers into town.
An old building and concrete ramp are slated for demolition as part of a overall plan to improve the facility for the international CAT ferry, scheduled to resume service in May.
