Piers Morgan today celebrated his book Wake Up soaring to the top of the Amazon best seller list.
The broadcaster, who stepped away from his role on Good Morning Britain this week, said he was touched by the support for his latest hardcover.
Piers, 55, added: BOOM! Wake Up is now Britain s No1 best-selling book. Amazing. Free speech matters. Very touched to see you many people support me. THANK you. Wake Up , published last October, is described as a plea for the return of true liberalism, where freedom of speech is king .
It is written in the context of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain, which Piers says exposed deep divisions within society and laid bare a toxic culture war that had been raging beneath the surface.
