Early Childhood Center vote is March 2

Constructing a new building to house the Boone Community School District’s youngest learners has been a long-time goal. Now, voters will take to the ballot box on March 2 for a special election of a bond issue to decide whether or not to build this facility.
The vote would approve funding to create an Early Childhood Center within the school district, to replace Page Elementary and Lincoln Elementary schools. Voting will take place at the Boone County Fairgrounds community building, 1601 Industrial Park Rd., Boone, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
