Police found two fugitives during the weekend and took another man to jail after he repeatedly summoned police for no good reason.
Trespassing
Police spokesman Matt Elder said at 3:06 p.m. on Monday, March 15, officers went to the 400 block of S. Welch to check out a reported trespassing. Wesley Sharp, 48, was said to be on the property and was not wanted there.
Police were aware that Sharp was wanted on other charges in Lincoln County, and placed him under arrest. He failed to pay for about $300 in criminal damages he caused in 2020 and he’d failed to appear in court to explain why he could not make the rest of the required payments.
