Sac City Council Votes To Extend Outdoor Dining Until 2022

Jun 16, 2021 In Tuesday s city council meeting, the council voted in favor of extending the city s al fresco dining program, allowing for an extension of the pandemic outdoor dining options. According to the Mayor s office, they are hoping this program becomes a permanent part of the downtown fabric. Right now, the extension allows for street dining until June 30th, 2022, just over another year. Over 120 restaurants are currently participating in the program, according to the city parking manager Matt Eierman.
