tried to get away. and the mta is fed up. sky eye chopper 13 was over edmondson avenue yesterday, as police responded to a violent fight on an mta bus. the mta says four student frls west baltimore middle school started arguing on campus and didn t stop once they got on that bus, assaulting another student. spokeswoman joanna green is outraged. she said it is troubling, so close to the start of the school year. we will not tolerate violent and inappropriate behavior on board the public transport. it comes just weeks after the agency launched a new campaign, targeting stiewbilityds and violence students and violence on public trchtdation. you don t settle your differences on public transit. and don t bring your problems into where you could assault someonele. someone else someone else. reporter: green says it s not the first time this year. the mta says the students were thrown off the bus and assaulted someone on the streets. she said patients need to parents

now, abc 2 news, the latest at 11:00. tomorrow, kids across the country head back to the classroom and many of them will hear a loud speech from president barack obama. tonight the white house has released the text of what the president will say. but as cristian schaefer reports that is not quieting critics of the president s address to the nation s children. 65% of the voters in carol county voted for john mccain. the second highest percentage for the republican candidate in the state. behind only gary row county. it wasn t hard to find those that were not believed about the president addressing their kids but we did find some support for the president as well. the president s speech is expected to last about 15 minutes. we honestly don t feel like the politics should be in the schools, you can t have religion in schools, why have politics, it s not for the children. conservative commentators have called on schools and parents to boycott the address. in carol count
