Legoland builds playroom for children at HONOR shelter in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN – Vulnerable local children who can’t make it to Legoland can now get a little taste of the park at the HONOR EHG shelter in Middletown. Merlin Entertainments, parent company to the future Legoland New York in the Town of Goshen, and the shelter’s staff unveiled a new attraction at the shelter on Friday. It s aimed at the children the shelter and its sister organization serve. The company s Merlin’s Magic Wand charitable arm paid for a Merlin’s Magic Space installation at HONOR. Parents and their children, or just kids with an HONOR employee watching, can play with Legos, enjoy an interactive SmartBoard learning screen or watch movies.
