Since 2019, the city has been sending its sewage to Fargo for treatment. Public Works Director Matt Andvik recommended, and the city commission agreed to have public works employees do the project instead of using outside contractors. Andvik says that means significant savings to the city. He says an engineers report two years ago estimated the cost at between $17-million and $30-million. Andvik says the in-house estimate will cost between $12-million and $16-million
