Matildas Abroad Preview: Aussies go head-to-head in England and Sweden

With the international break now over, it's back to club land for our Matildas Abroad. The season kicks off in England and France, with a handful of Aussies set to make their club debuts.  The 12th season of the Women's Super League (WSL) is scheduled to kick off this weekend, with a formal decision on if the season will begin as planned tomorrow, still yet to be decided following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  

Tickets on sale to general public for CommBank Matildas v Sweden in Melbourne

Australia and Sweden will continue their strong rivalry in November when the CommBank Matildas host the reigning Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallists at Melbourne’s AAMI Park. November’s Saturday afternoon blockbuster clash will be the first time the CommBank Matildas have played in Melbourne since March 2019 when they beat Argentina 3 – 0 in a Cup of Nations Tournament, at AAMI Park.

Match Preview: CommBank Matildas v Canada (Sydney)

The CommBank Matildas are set to create history, becoming the first football team to play at the new state-of-the-art Allianz Stadium in Sydney, when they host Canada tomorrow night.  The CommBank Matildas play their second game in their two-match series against the Olympic Champions, looking to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat on Saturday afternoon in Brisbane.
